LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Description
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, released on PSV and 3DS, is another production based on a popular series of bricks, in which the main theme is the adventures of young ninja warriors. As in the previous version - LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids, we are dealing with a colorful action game, in which, apart from the arcade and logical segments, we will also find a lot of humor. The game was developed by Traveller’s Tales.
Plot
After defeating the tyrant and hordes of Nindroids, the five heroes want to rest. However, it soon turns out that there is no such thing as "free time" in their profession because the world is about to face another threat. This time it's Ronin, the leader of the Shadow Army. The multitude of enemies wouldn't be a problem in itself if it weren't for the fact that the new villain robs our ninja warriors from their skills and memories by using an ancient artifact. The player's task is to save the world again. However, before this happens, they must first regain their lost skills.
Mechanics
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin offers dynamic action - with the help of one of the protagonists we break through hordes of enemies by using simple yet impressive combos. The opponents are mostly representatives of the new hostile faction, but we also find "old friends" - Nindroids or even Serpentine. Most of the skirmishes are fought on our own feet, but the developers have also included a lot of vehicles and dragons.
Among the dozens of different levels, we can find locations known from the animated series such as the Ice Temple or Chen Island but also a whole lot of new ones.
Technical aspects
Thanks to improved graphics, LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin looks much better than the previous release, although we are still dealing with a 2.5D perspective.
