Lego Minifigures Online is a free-to-play family MMO game, based in the Lego blocks universe - a world perfectly known probably by everyone. The game, licensed by LEGO, was developed by FunCom - a studio known for games like The Longest Journey, Age of Conan, or Anarchy Online. Lego Minifigures Online takes place on several thematic maps based on popular LEGO sets.
Lego Minifigures Online is a free-to-play MMO game, based on the license of LEGO figures toyline. The game focuses on fun for every fan of the franchise, no matter what age you are. It is also an integral part of the Lego Minifigures “online experience” (official website and numerous minigames). The game was created for iOS, Android, and PC.
Mechanics
Lego Minifigures Online allows thousands of players from all around the world to play together. Developers created various game modes, like PvP battles or cooperative story missions. However, probably the most interesting element of the game are player versus player battles in which we have to build towers, set traps, plant mines, and use sentry towers in battles. All of this takes place in various environments: from a Pirate Land, through a medival city, all the way to a space metropolis.
There are over one hundred different minifigures available in the game, all of wich have to be collected and can be used in the game. Ice Skater, Chicken Suit Guy, Aztec Warrior, or Roller Derby Girl are only a few among them, and each and every minifigure has its own unique abilities. Of course, just like in every other LEGO game, Lego Minifigures Online enables us to destroy the environment and build new objects from blocks. For example, we can destroy our enemy’s tower and rebuild it. It will attack its previous owner from now on. You can also blow a hole in the wall and create a new passage, or build machines to use in fights against the bosses.
Misc.
Just like in other MMOs, Lego Minifigures Online enables you to gain experience and level up your characters. Additonally, the developers implemented a special blocks system: combining specific elements will increase you abilities, like luck or creativity.
