LEGO Drome Racers is the work of the LEGO Media development team. Players have the opportunity to build their own vehicles based on LEGO Racers elements and take part in exciting, futuristic races. The main campaign in the game allows you to play the role of an ambitious Max Axel driver, whose dream is to win the Drome Championship competition.

Lego Drome Racers are futuristic Lego racing vehicles, played on tracks located in a variety of environments. You can build your own vehicles using the elements available in the Lego Racers 2002 sets, or choose one of the eighteen ready-made cars and start the rally right away. The player plays the role of Max Axel racing driver, whose aim is to win the Drome Championship competition and win the coveted title of champion.

We are now facing a tough competition in Multi-Challenge Races (MCR's) races. Each route is divided into several stages taking place in different surroundings, for example connecting the surroundings of urban streets with mountain tunnels and ravines. The routes are maintained in three styles: straight sections from Formula 1, twisted "Dragster" and off-road "Off-Road". Before each race we can adjust our vehicle to new road conditions and improve its parameters by changing the engine, wheels, adding turbocharging or improving aerodynamics with spoilers. On the way you can meet various afterburners, such as the "repellor", for a moment turning our vehicle into a jet, protecting the vehicle from damage "shield", sucking energy from opponents "disruptor field" or "speed boost" accelerator. We can also slow down our opponents by betting mines or earrings.
