In Legacy: Steel & Sorcery we take part in the expeditions in a fantasy kingdom, looking for loot, fighting monsters and encountering other players. We always need to return to the safe hub with our treasures.
Legacy: Steel & Sorcery is an action extraction game with RPG elements, designed for multiplayer fun. The game is the debut project of Notorious Studios, founded by former developers of World of Warcraft.
Gameplay
In Legacy: Steel & Sorcery we view the events from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game transports us to a fantasy world full of dangers. During the game, we play as daredevils who organize expeditions to dangerous regions of this land in search of valuable loot.
Characters
The game provides us with characters that vary in terms of profession, and consequently - skills, preferred weapons, and fighting style. While a warrior wielding a weapon and shield feels the best during direct confrontations, for a rogue who primarily uses a bow, it is a better idea to keep enemies at a distance, while the magic of priests allows them to completely avoid confrontation.
Combat
Battles in the game are dynamic, and during them we launch attacks and cast spells, perform dodges and block enemy blows. On our way, we encounter both enemies controlled by artificial intelligence (all kinds of monsters), as well as characters of other players.
Although nothing prevents us from forming alliances with the other participants of the game, we can just as well immediately act against them or stab them in the back when they least expect it. We should be cautious, as we may also face a similar fate.
Safe place
Death can be painful, because when we fall, we lose all the loot collected during a given expedition. In order to keep it, we need to safely reach the exit from the location. We then arrive at a city that serves as a hub and shelter, where we can sell collected items and stock up on more useful ones, as well as create new equipment and upgrade the gear we already have.
We can find our private quarters in the inn, which we can adapt to individual preferences (the higher the standard, the better rest is offered, and various bonuses go along with it).
Co-op
Legacy: Steel & Sorcery only allows for multiplayer gameplay over the Internet. The game allows us to create teams of up to three people.
