A browser MMORPG with strategy game features that uses typical manga-inspired envelope. League of Angels is a free-to-play game with microtransactions. The game takes place in a fantasy world whose protectors, the League of Angels, became the victims of a treacherous attack of the evil Suurde. The players assume the roles of the brave heroes who together with the angels will face the forces of evil.
League of Angels is a typically Asian style browser MMORPG with strategic elements. The title was prepared by GTArcade, a part of the world's leading online game publisher, Youzu Games from Hong Kong.
The action of the game takes us to the fantasy world, which, known for its beauty and splendour, for centuries has been an oasis of peace and security thanks to the League of powerful beings, called angels by some. One day, however, the ominous Suurde took away their power from the angels and began to gradually eliminate the defenceless creatures. However, people stood up in defence of the League, trying to re-establish order in the land and restore their former power to their long-standing protectors. Players take on the role of daredevils who, with the help of angels, will face the forces of evil, controlled by Suurde.
Starting to play, we create our hero, deciding on his appearance and class (here you can choose only Warrior or Mage). After completing the tutorial, we move on to the proper game, the essence of which is to perform subsequent feature quests. While exploring, we recruit new heroes to our team, creating an army capable of facing the forces of evil. The fight takes place in a typical turn-based mode, and the role of the player has been reduced to a minimum, as most of the clash is automatic. For the experience and gold gained in combat, we can improve our hero's abilities and equip him with new weapons, items and equipment.
The mechanics of fun does not differ significantly from other browser-based MMORPGs, headed by Legend Online. However, the League of Angels has a number of gameplay modes that allow players to spend time playing their favourite game. Apart from the main PvE mode, the game does not lack numerous PvP modes, in which we compete with other players, or combine our strength in battles with powerful computer opponents. The whole is complemented by numerous side mini-games, diversifying the game and allowing you to earn valuable experience points and gold.
The League of Angels grows above browser average in terms of binding, offering attractive, hand-drawn graphics and an eye-catching soundtrack. Like most similar productions, the game uses a typical free-to-play model with micropayments. Unique weapons and items purchased for real cash make gameplay much easier and provide a significant advantage over players who only use the free gameplay option. The authors also provided for the possibility of having a paid Premium membership, which guarantees a number of additional benefits.
