League of Angels II Description
League of Angels II is a browser MMORPG and a continuation of League of Angels from 2014. The production was created by GTArcade, the same developer responsible for the first game. The game is available for free, but there are microtransactions and an energy system.
Mechanics
The plot of League of Angels II doesn't stand out from the story offered by other games of this genre. The game takes place in a fantastic world, where we have to defeat the forces of evil. In the initial stages of the game, we learn the basic rules, fight with relatively weak opponents. The real adventure begins when we reach a specific level.
League of Angels II uses a turn-based combat system, which can be fully automated, thanks to which our party consisting of several characters can use their regular and special attacks by themselves. Therefore, a very important element of the game is the proper selection of heroes and equipment, as well as character leveling. By winning the fights, we get experience points, which we use in-between battles to improve special abilities. In addition, we also get new items (e.g. weapons), which can be additionally strengthened at the blacksmith. All this is complemented by tactical options, such as the ability to deploy party members to take advantage of their strengths and mitigate their weaknesses. Sometimes, we are rewarded with single heroes. However, those more valuable must be purchased with real money.
Game modes
The game offers a number of gameplay modes. Although it is an MMORPG, the creators have also prepared the opportunity to play alone (except for the tutorial), for example in Arena mode, where we fight for points that we can exchange for items. As we progress, we get access to more advanced options, such as the ability to fight with other players or join a guild. In addition, the game also features a variety of mini-missions and daily tasks thanks to which we can win smaller prizes.
Technical aspects
League of Angels II, available on browsers, uses a 3D engine but the majority of the game is presented from the side. The game has decent graphics - this is achieved by its interesting visual style referring to Japanese RPG games, or impressive special attacks.
