LakeSide

LakeSide is a city builder economic strategy in which we expand a picturesquely located city. The game was developed by an independent team Massive Galaxy Studios.

Mechanics

Unlike in most positions of this type, in LakeSide we don't observe the action from the top down view, but from the side. Our task is to build from scratch a city located on a lake, whose buildings bring to mind Mediterranean architecture. It depends on our finesse (and skills) if we try to create a small, but nice and cosy town, or if we decide to build a real megalopolis overwhelming with its grandeur. In total, there are over fifty different buildings and over a dozen wonders waiting to be built.

During the game we collect resources and construct buildings of various purposes (from houses, through warehouses and production structures, to real architectural wonders). As our town grows and becomes more beautiful, its population also increases. Over time we unlock various rewards, including previously unavailable buildings.
