Matrix Games' first strategy game of the La Grande Armee Campaign series. Allows players to influence the outcome of the Battle of Austerlitz.

First strategy game from Matrix Games in the La Grande Armee Campaign series, presenting the most famous battles in history. As the title "La Grande Armee At Austerlitz" itself says, the game takes us to the fields near Austerlitz, where 66,000 French soldiers led by Napoleon with 85,000 Austrian and Russian soldiers tried to get to the second December 1805. What was the result of this clash, we know from history - it was the day of Napoleon's triumph. Whether you want to repeat his feat or take the other side and end his career in 1805 depends only on you - this title will allow you to do both. The game recreates with the highest precision the realities of the Napoleonic era and the number, squads and morale of all the units that took part in this battle. We can command troops under our command, form them into real formations and use different combat tactics. The whole struggle can be observed by means of two-dimensional or three-dimensional graphics.
