Horses and ponies: The Academy of Horse Riding is a game for children from the age of seven, putting young fans of electronic entertainment before the opportunity to have contact with four-legged animals. It is worth mentioning that several other titles, including Best Friends, were also published in the series Horses and Pony.

During the game we play the role of teenage Paulina Maj. After returning from her summer vacation, the protagonist learns that the title Horse Riding Academy is in danger and starts her own investigation in order to unravel the intrigue.

The character controlled by us meets many independent characters with whom he can talk, but it is the horses that are in the centre of interest. We spend most of our time caring for the horse of our choice, on joint rides and training the animal for performances in front of a wider audience. In the latter case we can choose between several different disciplines, namely to specialize in jumping, dressage or western riding. The game is complemented by interesting mini-games, among which there were games with young foals or treasure hunts.

The visual setting of the game consists mainly of careful animations of horses in the world of the game, as well as the possibility of changing their appearance (e.g. different colour of the mane or other colour). Among other things, the manufacturer has put at our disposal extensive flat areas, on which we can move freely.
