The Sin Collector: Repentless is a visual novel in the gamebook style set in the universe created by Michal Golkowski for the purpose of his novel. Game was developed by Sylen Studio team.

Plot

The Sin Collector: Repentless presents us with a grim vision of the future in which the biblical apocalypse has come. However, things didn't quite go as planned, because people weren't going to lost their lives. The Creator had no choice but to send the Sin Collectors to Earth. These are brave men chosen from among mortals, who, after mastering the art of gladius combat, were to enforce payment from sinners for their transgressions. One of them is the protagonist we play - Aniketos.

Mechanics

Events in which we take part in The Sin Collector: Repentless are presented in the form of static boards showing places and situations in which the protagonist finds himself and characters he has to deal with. While playing, we follow the story told in the game and make morally ambiguous choices that affect the course of the story. Moreover, the game allows us to decide about the protagonist's skills and his equipment, which in turn determines what options are available to us at certain moments. The adventure leads Aniketos both through the mysterious lands of the Reverse and through the streets of post-apocalyptic Warsaw.

Technical aspects

The Sin Collector: Repentless features two-dimensional graphics. The game also offers a soundtrack that creates an apocalyptic atmosphere.
