Mechanics
Knot for PS4 is a typical logic game targeted at the fans of ancient Chinese puzzles and those interested in popular Rubik's cube created in 1974. The player solves subsequent puzzles consisting of differently shaped blocks made of different materials, such as wood, stone or metal. Particular elements are parts of a mechanism, which has to be disassembled through moving and rotating the blocks in an adequate manner. Subsequent puzzles get more and more difficult gradually - the player begins with simple ones that take several seconds at most and ends with complex structures that require several (or even several dozen) minutes of intense thinking.
Technical aspects
Contrary to the majority of minimalistic logic games, Knot for PS4 offers high-quality visuals in full 3D, which makes it possible to rotate the entire mechanism at any angle. It is also worth noticing that the game engine generates physical properties of the materials particular blocks are made of, apart from recreating their appearances.
