The next installment of a series of boxing sports games with EA Sports logo. The title was first released on PlayStation 2 and the graphics and gameplay have improved significantly. Players have at their disposal such celebrities as Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Leonard, Smokin' Joe Frazier or Marvin Hagler.

Knockout Kings 2001 is the next part of the series devoted to boxing from the Electronic Arts catalogue. For the first time it was released not only on the previous generation of Sony consoles, but also on PlayStation 2. As a result, we have seen many significant changes compared to last year's edition. In addition to the audio-visual layer, the available play modes have been enriched and the pool of players (and players!) has been increased.

Among a number of options for a single player, the main challenge is Career. At first, we create our own boxer from scratch, deciding on its appearance, name and color of shorts, and then we set off to conquer the world's most famous halls, headed by Madison Square Garden. Before this happens, however, we have to fight a number of duels with more and more experienced rivals. During the breaks between meetings we go to the training room, where under the watchful eye of the trainer we develop skills by pressing the buttons on the pad in the appropriate order.
