Despite changing toy trends, laying blocks is a favourite form of entertainment for many children. Play-publishing, the publisher of the game Klocki, has attempted to transfer the traditional fun into the virtual world.
More than 700 bricks (modelled on elements of sets produced by such companies as LEGO or Cobi) from 15 different categories, including buildings, vehicles and machines, were made available to players. This allows for virtually unlimited creative inventiveness. For the less talented, 16 ready-made projects with detailed assembly instructions were prepared.
The creators of the blocks took care of intuitively simple user interface, the use of which should not cause problems even for inexperienced players. The options such as changing "skins", printing game images or the possibility of exporting and importing projects were not forgotten either.
The game's audiovisual setting leaves no illusions about the low-cost nature of production. Three-dimensional desktop environment is characterized by very little detail. However, bright colours should appeal to younger players.
