Kletka PC

Kletka is an FPP-styled survival horror game from the first PlayStation, which throws us into a post-Soviet construction structure that is riddled with traps and monsters. We have to use a carnivorous elevator to get down to the bottom. The independent title is the result of a collaboration between Chile's In404 and Russia's Callback.

The plot

The so-called Gigastructure serves as a destination for the most dangerous criminals. The verdict of the controlled character is to descend into the depths of this post-Soviet facility, and in order to do so, you need the title Kletka - a fuel-consuming living elevator that will not disdain meat.

Gameplay

In Kletka, we laboriously make our way through the floors of the dark building, collecting energy, parts and provisions for the elevator, which does not separate fuel from meat. If we don't want to be eaten alive, we must feed it and use the brake lever judiciously. In order to refuel the generator and repair the machinery, we are forced to traverse the corridors of the Gigastructure. These, in turn, are not much safer than the elevator. Detecting resources in the dark and filled with landmines and lakes of electrified water requires the use of a flashlight that needs recharging at regular intervals. There's also no getting around fighting a palette of bizarre monstrosities.

The omnivorous elevator brings both danger and protection from Samosbor, an enigmatic anomaly that no inhabitant has survived. Thus, when we hear a siren howl, our only salvation turns out to be the hungry Kletka.

Coop

Only one player is needed to traverse the dark Gigastructure, but Kletka emphasizes a cooperative mode for up to four people.

Kletka features visuals kept in the style of the first PlayStation games.
