KingsAge is a medieval real-time browser strategy in the MMO convention developed by the German company Gameforge. Players take on the role of ruler of a small kingdom and try to transform it into a big empire. The title is offered on a "free to play" basis with the option of micropayment.

The action of the game was set in a fictional, medieval universe. Players take control of a small kingdom and their task is to lead it into the role of a superpower.

As befits an MMO game, KingsAge's fun is based on interactions with other players with whom you can trade, wage wars or enter into covenants.
The game is based mainly on the text and information layer. Graphic elements in the form of pictures are only a decoration.
