Kingdom of Night is an action RPG inspired by horror movies from the 1980s. The game was developed by Black Seven studio and released by Dangen Entertainment.

Plot

The campaign takes place in a small American town of Watford, Arizona. The local cult, while trying to make contact with the afterworld, accidentally awakes the ancient divinity of evil - Baphomet. In order to remain in the world of mortals, this being must marry a human woman before sunrise. The choice falls on a girl named Ophelia, who is kidnapped and imprisoned in a fortress known as Leviathan.

Players assume the role of a young man named John, who is a neighbour of Ophelia. To save the girl, he will have to break through hordes of undead and other monsters, defeat five demonic generals protecting Baphomet, and finally face the divinity himself before he finishes his wedding ritual.
