King Arthur: Legends Rise

King Arthur: Legends Rise is an RPG based on the Arthurian legends, distributed in a free-to-play model with micropayments. The production was developed by Kabam Games, a studio with a portfolio of Shop Titans and Marvel Contest of Champions games, while its release was handled by Netmarble.

The plot

King Arthur: Legends Rise takes us to Britain, which has become an arena of war between mankind and the gods. The ruler of the kingdom of Camelot - King Arthur - makes a dark pact with Caliburn, a dragon trapped in the famous sword called Excalibur. His task is to defend the kr?le that belongs to him from the darkness, for which he will use the power inherent in the blade. At the same time, the protagonist will not be doomed to a lonely crossing, as other characters will join him over time.

Gameplay

Squad and turn-based skirmishes

In King Arthur: Legends Rise, the action is viewed from a bird's eye view. Although the game features exploration of locations, the most important gameplay element in the game is turn-based skirmishes with enemies, to which we lead King Arthur and his team.

The characters that make up our team are differentiated in terms of their combat skills, strengths and weaknesses, and success can be ensured both by gathering such heroes and heroines who will complement each other, and by replacing individual team members when they prove ineffective in clashes with certain adversaries.

As we progress, we develop Kr?l Arthur and his subordinates, making them more and more effective on the battlefield. In addition, we can increase their combat potential by using elemental artifacts. In addition, we unlock new units over time.

Camelot

Our command center is the castle of Camelot, where we end up between escapades. We go on expeditions from here, and as we progress, we develop the place by unlocking new buildings that provide our team with various improvements (such as the forge, where we can develop weapons and armor.

Endurance

Stamina is a kind of "currency" that gives us access to further adventures. We exhaust it by completing subsequent tasks, while we accumulate it in various ways, including obtaining certain achievements.

Game modes

The mainstay of King Arthur: Legends Rise is the story mode, in which we learn the tale ofKing Arthur and his companions. In addition, there is an adventure mode, where we explore locations and complete specially prepared tasks. In addition, themed dungeons were prepared for the game, offering challenges designed for more advanced players (where we can raise the level of the team, collect better equipment or even take part in raids).

In addition, the production allows players to create their own clans and join existing ones, as well as PvP battles in the so-called Coliseum.
