A funny game in which our task is to kill the Buddy - a moving puppet voo doo. We have at our disposal a wide range of different methods and tools of murder. Playgendary is responsible for creating and publishing this title.
Kick the Buddy is a game in which our task is to "kill" a living voodoo doll - the title Buddy. The title is characterized by a good dose of humor and quite a simple gameplay premise, but at the same time, it offers a lot of options and possibilities. Playgendary (the devs of Tomb of the Mask, Tank Stars and Polysphere) is responsible for developing and publishing the title. The game works in a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions.
Mechanics
Kick the Buddy is based on a very simple concept - on the screen, we see the image of a voodoo doll, and our task is to destroy it in the most spectacular and creative way possible. A wide range of various "tools", divided into several categories, such as firearms, melee weapons, explosives, objects, chemical weapons, machines, animals or... divine interventions is at our disposal.
For our actions we receive a virtual currency, which we use to buy even more "attacks" as well as models and outfits for Buddy.
Game modes
Kick the Buddy can be played only solo.
Technical aspects
Kick the Buddy has very simple, two-dimensional visuals, which consists of a Buddy's model (in different variations), a background board, and various tools that we use in the game. Noteworthy is the very colorful artistic style, which cannot be denied a specific charm and sense of humor. The animations accompanying the game also make a solid impression.
It is worth noting, that despite its humorous convention and comic book-like style, the game is characterized by a high level of brutality and is unlikely to be suitable for younger users.
