Keylocker

Gameplay

In Keylocker we start the game by selecting a character class from the four available initial ones. Later on the list expands to six more classes. Each class has different tasks, ways of interacting with NPCs, and equipment. For example, a Hacker has the ability to break into various places, and a Juggernaut fights using an axe and firearms.

Combat is divided into rounds. In each round, we choose our move for a certain amount of energy points. In order to make it as successful as possible, we have to perfectly complete a rhythm mini-game. The equipment, which we can adjust from items found all over the world, is also important. Additionally, thanks to the Keys, we gain and develop the skills of our character after winning battles.

Apart from fighting enemies, we explore locations such as: Scrapyard, Kymel Desert, Neocult Palace and Soundwave City. In each location we can find new missions and opponents, hidden items and new characters who we can befriend or betray after hacking their profiles.

We can build relationships with the inhabitants of Saturn, using a system inspired by Stardew Valley, in which we unlock new conversations, cutscenes and build a romantic (or platonic) relationships in exchange for donated items.

Due to the fact that B0B0 belongs to an anarchist band, we can also play musical mini-games based on such series as Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
