Karting Superstars Description
Karting Superstars is a spin-off of Circuit Superstars developed by Original Fire Games. The game is focused on karting, a motorsport that wasn't included in the previous game.
Gameplay
Karting Superstars is a small, modest project. It has no career mode and only features one kart model (with no upgrades, but with cosmetic customization).
The game resembles Circuit Superstars, being a simcade, trying to capture the spirit of kart racing, being easy to learn but difficult to master.
The biggest different from the previous game is the camera change, from top-down to third-person. The developers hoped this would better convey speed, narrow tracks and frequent contact between the karts.
Game modes
A substitute for career mode in Karting Superstars are Kartcore tournaments players can design themselves. Players can race against the AI (which adjusts to our skill level) or against up to eleven other players in online multiplayer.
Technology
Karting Superstars retains the engine and art style of Circuit Superstars, featuring bright colors, slightly exaggerated vehicles and environments - though the environment is more detailed due to the changed camera angle.
