Karaoke Joysound is a music game in which we can test our vocal skills. What distinguishes this production from a number of other similar ones is a huge library of more than 1000 music tracks, to which we get access after paying a special subscription.
Karaoke Joysound is a music game, thanks to which we will see the value of our vocal abilities. What distinguishes the game from dozens of similar productions is a huge library of musical works, which can be used by players. The Japanese studio Hudson is responsible for creating the title, and its western distributor is Konami.
The basic model of fun does not differ too much from what other karaoke games have accustomed us to. The TV screen displays the lyrics of the song together with lines symbolizing its fragments. They change colour depending on how well we manage to fit the song into the original sound of the song. In the background we can observe a 3D avatar created by us. For each successful performance we receive points, which we spend on clothes and accessories for the virtual alter ego, as well as new decorations and set design. In addition to the standard gameplay modes, Karaoke Joysound also offers several mini games for up to eight people.
On the album you will find 30 hit songs of different genres, but they are only a foretaste of what awaits players if they decide to pay for a special subscription. It gives us access to a collection of over 1000 hits, divided into various categories. They are directly downloaded from the manufacturer's servers directly to our console. Payments are made via Wii points. We buy a one-day, three-day or monthly subscription.
