Kajko and Kokosz: Wizard's Fortress is a typical representative of the point'n'click adventure game genre, where the player's task is to find hidden objects on the board and combine them in appropriate combinations. The game uses the world and characters from the popular comic books by the Polish draughtsman Janusz Christa, but the story has been reinvented especially for her needs.

The plot focuses on Mirmilowo - a small Polish town where time passes quietly and everyone knows each other and nobody is hiding anything from others. One day, the life of the inhabitants of Mirmilowo is interrupted by an unexpected visit of merchants from the West, who impress everyone with their collections of dresses, scarves and felts. Among the newcomers is a cunning Hodon. His talent for exaggerating the ambitions of the hosts quickly wins Mirmila's recognition. He quickly appoints him as his advisor, which results in the imposition of a tax on the inhabitants of Mirmilowo in order to build a castle. Kajko and Kokosz are not happy about it, so they decide to expose Hodon's evil plans.

More than 40 painted locations were created for the game, filled with simple puzzles and mini-logical games. The graphic design is based on static images modelled on the cartoon prototype. In this respect, the game is the closest to Kajko and Kokosz in the Land of Borostwor, the first game adaptation published in 1998.
