Jump King Quest

Gameplay

In Jump King Quest we play as a knight and watch the protagonist from the side, traversing (both horizontally and vertically) locations connected with each other. We jump on platforms, avoid traps and terrain obstacles, and also fight opponents, which distinguishes this game from its predecessor.

During dynamic battles, we can make use of both melee weapons, engaging in direct exchanges of blows, as well as a bow, trying to keep enemies at a distance. Apart from regular enemies, bosses stand in our way. Moreover, at any moment other players can turn against us.

As we progress, we develop the character, increasing our combat potential and adapting the knight to individual preferences. Additionally, we can modify his appearance.

Co-op

The second major innovation introduced in Jump King Quest is the online multiplayer mode, allowing us to meet other players. Cooperation with the encountered knight (or knights) can bring tangible benefits. It is easier to defeat enemies in a team, and companions can serve us as additional "platforms", facilitating the overcoming of terrain obstacles.

On the other hand, nothing prevents us from challenging another player to a duel or temporarily cooperating with them, and then stabbing them in the back (or shooting an arrow) when they least expect it. One should be cautious, as such fate may also befall us.

Graphics

The third novelty in Jump King Quest is the refreshed graphic design. While the original was maintained in a pixel art retro style, this time the authors opted for a 2.5D technique.
