A casual logic and adventure game, produced by Artifex Mundi studio and addressed to a wide range of audiences. Players have to help the title archaeologist Joan Jade save her children, discover the secrets of Mayan civilization and stop a group of criminals. The game combines puzzles such as hidden objects, puzzles and simple mini-games.

Joan Jade and the Gates of Xibalba, released on PC, iOS and NDS, was developed by Artifex Mundi. Inspired by Indiana Jones' movie adventures and the Tomb Raider series, the creators prepared a logical adventure game starring a brave archaeologist in the lead role.

Plot

Joan Jade and the Gates of Xibalba is set in South America, where the title character sets off in search of her children. Emily and Jim were supposed to be volunteers on archaeological excavations, but they did not reach the site. Joan discovers that their disappearance is linked to an ancient Mayan temple and a group of dangerous criminals.
