JetFighter series jet simulator. We are involved in the United Nations conflict with Russia in the Norwegian region. The bone of contention is a rich oil resource. We choose on which side of the conflict we want to stand up and depending on that we sit at the controls of F-22N Lightning IIs and F/A-18 Hornet or MiG-42 planes.
JetFighter: Full Burn is another game released in a series of aeronautical simulators dedicated to jets. This title was sold outside the standard cycle numbering and is the link between the third and fourth part. In terms of audiovisual setting and mechanics of the game does not differ much from its predecessor. The biggest difference is the real actor film inserts (FMV) before the next missions.
This time, we are abandoning the South American climate in favour of a cool north. For a long time, Russia has been sharpening its teeth at the thought of Norway's huge oil reserves. When the military action was taken, the United Nations units joined the action in order to counter the attack. Players can take part in the campaign on both sides of the conflict. If we are in favour of the UN, F-22N Lightning IIs and F/A-18 Hornet planes will be put at our disposal. In turn aggressors use fictitious jets MiG-42.
Although JetFighter: Full Burn is one of the aviation simulators, it offers a relatively simplified control model. Therefore, this title is addressed to a wide range of fans of heavenly fights. Of the more realistic elements, a dragging effect was left, among other things. Use the keyboard, joystick or by clicking on the appropriate levers and buttons in the cockpit.
In the interval between missions we move freely around the base, visiting also our own cabin, from which level we observe the received decorations and choose winged ones. The biggest novelty in this part of the cycle are extended film inserts. Real actors performed in them. Thanks to this, we can more easily feel the events presented, and the plot has gained additional depth.
Compared to JetFighter III, the creators did not tempt themselves to make major changes in the audio-visual layer. This means that we are dealing with simplified effects of fog and dynamic lighting, and the game uses hardware acceleration.
