Jet Set Radio Future is an official continuation of a very successful game, which was released in 2001 on the Dreamcast console. This time, however, this product can only enjoy having an Xbox. It is worth noting, however, that the Jet Set Radio series has also come to the portable console of Nintendo, the popular GameBoy Advance. This continuation does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay, although it is worth noting that many elements from the Dreamcasta version have been greatly simplified or even deleted. This made the game more accessible for beginners, which unfortunately affected the lower level of difficulty of the game. JSRF's production is again the responsibility of a studio called SmileBit, which has also prepared such games as Gunvalkyrie or Panzer Dragoon Orta for Xbox.

The general assumptions of the game were left practically unchanged. We can choose from 12 basic and the same number of hidden characters. Each of these people uses rollers to move around the area. However, Jet Set Radio does not refer to the popular Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, although tricks are possible, and in some situations even necessary (mainly grindings). The game focuses on other activities. Our task is to paint graffiti and beat other players who have similar guidelines. As you can easily guess, the environment is very complex, giving a large field for action. The main character must avoid all sorts of threats, including the law enforcement officers on the board, so that he can safely reach his destination. Graffiti is painted in several different ways. Extensive combinations of tricks, which were required on the Dreamcast console, were abandoned. Most often, in order to paint the correct graffiti, it is necessary to grind in parallel. The player must also collect cans of paint, which, in addition to graffiti painting, can be used as a afterburner. Subsequent tasks are received in the central zone of the map. This is a large size skate park.

The visual setting of the game looks very unusual, and this is because we are dealing with a slightly forgotten technology of goal-shading. It gives the illusion of moving around in an environment modeled on the graphic style presented, for example, in popular comics. The player can count on a huge field of vision, or the presence of passers-by. A detailed animation of the character's movements was also taken care of. Jet Set Radio Future has a quite extensive multiplayer for four people. Players can enter modes such as Capture the Flag, Tag, and Graffiti Wars.
