Jenny LeClue is a detective adventure with a point-n-click interface, prepared for the PC platform, AND, etc... The game was created by a one-man American studio Mografi, in the person of the developer Joseph Russ.

Story

In the game we play the role of a young detective named Jenny LeClue, who lives in a small town of Arthurton. Her mother was accused of murdering the school headmaster, adored by the local community. The protagonist, of course, believes in the innocence of her parent, so she undertakes the task of clearing her of the charges. During the investigation he quickly discovers that the case is in fact much more complicated than it initially seemed.

Mechanics

Released on PC platform, AND, etc. Jenny LeClue is a typical adventure, so we spend most of our time exploring the location, conducting conversations and solving riddles. At the same time, the authors did not stop at recreating the classic solutions of this genre. The game world is fully interactive, so you can do something about virtually any object you meet while playing. The plot is largely non-linear and our decisions significantly shape its course. In addition, during conversations we get the possibility to manipulate the camera, which allows us to look at the characters in search of clues suggesting their innocence or guilt.

An interesting solution is also the way of telling stories - in the plot a key role is played by the writer of detective stories, Arthur K. Finklestein, who is the author of the novel about the adventures of Jenny LeClue. In the game he acts as a narrator and sometimes he intervenes directly in the development of events. What is more, our decisions affect not only the fate of the young lady detective, but also the life of Finklestein himself.
