JanKenUP! is an arcade game using the rules of paper, stone, scissors game. It is a debut project of Humita, an independent studio.

Game mechanics

In JanKenUP! we find ourselves in a wacky elevator where we play paper, stone and scissors with other passengers. Game is divided into turns, and in each of them we have to choose a symbol stronger than the one chosen by the opponent. Here, stone beats scissors, scissors beats paper, in turn, paper beats stone.

We have limited time to decide. After ten won turns we go to the next floor (or go to the next round) and face new competitors.

Things are complicated by the fact that while in the first turns we immediately know what symbol our opponent will point to, with time a bar appears over the opponent's head, after filling which the symbol indicated by him will change. However, the symbols of our competitors remain hidden from us, and we have nothing else to do but to count on luck... or use one of the special skills.

When you win, you earn coins, which you can spend on such things as the ability to see the symbol that your opponent is going to point at, or on a superpower, which no symbol can resist.

Game modes

In JanKenUP! you can play both solo and with other players over the Internet. Apart from that, the game offers two game modes - classic and Frenzy, where we play against time (the supply of which increases with each turn won).
