Ittle Dew 2

Ittle Dew 2 is the sequel to Ittle Dew, a game released in 2013. The title was created for iOS, PS4 and etc. by studio Ludosity which also created the first installment. It was published by Nicalis which also distributed such games like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Cave Story and Grinsia.

Plot

Ittle Dew 2 for iOS, PS4 and etc. presents the further adventures of Ittle and her companion Tippsi. The two crashed on another island filled with mysteries and strange creatures. Thanks to the magic map they will have to find eight pieces of a raft which will allow them to escape from there.

Mechanics

The title combines features of adventure and action games. On one side, Ittle Dew 2 for iOS, PS4 and etc. is focused on action and fighting encountered enemies. During the battles one must avoid attacks by running and rolling over the ground and attacking at right time. On other side, from time to time player will face riddles which he must solve in order to get forward. Frequently the riddles require finding an item and placing it in specific place. All of that is supplemented with the possibility to upgrade equipment.

During the game player will visit beach, meadow, basement and other areas. What’s interesting, first seven (of eight in total) levels are available since the beginning of the game and it’s up to player to decide where will he go first.

Technical aspects

Ittle Dew 2 for iOS, PS4 and etc. – similarly as its predecessor – was created by using a colorful, cartoonish style and the action is shown from isometric perspective. The title is supplemented by varied soundtrack which fits the style of specific locations.
