Action of the game Ishar: Legend of the Fortress takes us to the kingdom of Kendoria (once known as Arborea), which once again faces a great danger. The main threat is Krogh, an evil sorcerer who, using the internal chaos in the land, decided to take control of it once and for all. A group of daredevils under the command of the heroic Aramira will have the opportunity to prevent him, provided that, of course, he first gets to his temple on the border of the kingdom. Ishar: Legend of the Fortress is a direct continuation of Crystals of Arborea and at the same time the first installment of the extremely popular RPG series, created by Silmarils.

As in any RPG, in Ishar we will perform various activities: wandering around the land, visiting villages and cities, talking to independent heroes, fighting against hostile creatures, equipping the team with various items and weapons, performing side tasks, and finally reaching the goal of the game - the title Krogha fortress.

In addition to Aramira, four other heroes can join the team (usually the easiest way to meet potential candidates in taverns). This does not mean, however, that everyone agrees to the group as it flies. If there are already other characters in your team, they must first vote in favour of a new member. In case of a negative result, we have to find someone else. All heroes are described by five attributes (strength, endurance, dexterity, intelligence and knowledge) and eight skills (use of lock picks, one-handed and two-handed weapons, orientation, first aid, throwing, shooting and language skills). An increase in all coefficients occurs with the promotion to the next level of experience.

Ishar is characterized by an interesting and engaging story, good riddles, a large number of opponents to exterminate and a solid audiovisual setting. For some it will be a big disadvantage to have to fight in real time, but it's already a matter of taste. In addition, the system of registering one's own achievements is somewhat annoying. In order to record the state of the game, you have to pay, which in the initial phase of the game is absolutely unrealistic. Regardless of these two shortcomings, Ishar is a product so interesting that it should appeal to all fans of classic RPG.
