Football Club is an arcade football, realized in a humorous way. The authors of the game simplified many elements of this sport, while others did not take seriously. This does not mean, however, that the fun is very limited. There are many responsibilities for the player, also outside the field of play. He must skillfully manage one of the selected (fictional) clubs. The authors have made available the option to buy and sell players. This allows you to gradually strengthen your team by buying new, talented players. There is also an option to organize trainings. This is especially useful at the beginning of the game, when you control a bunch of yellow hawks and it is not possible to exchange them for some better players.

Football Club offers several different gameplay modes with no revolutionary ones. The player can choose a single match, one of the available cups or take control of one of the teams for five consecutive seasons (only then will these managerial options be unlocked). Those who prefer a duel with a living person over a computer will be happy to play a match with a second player. Football Club graphics are quite simplified (the game is aimed at younger players). Players running on the pitch resemble comic characters. A curiosity is the improbable tricks, which players can perform at the right moments of the match. However, they can be switched off at any time.
