Intrigue is a turn-based strategy created by an independent studio Robot Gentleman. The action of the game was set at the royal court, where a fierce fight for influence, wealth and the crown lasts. The player plays one of the six available characters and through intricately boorish conspiracies tries to eliminate competitors to the throne.

Intrigue is the first project of the independent Robot Gentleman studio under the direction of Dominik Gotojuch. Developers tempted themselves for an innovative turn-based strategy, requiring both tactical and cunning skills from the players.

The action of the game was set on the court of a fictional kingdom modelled on its counterparts from the Enlightenment period. There is a ruthless struggle for wealth and influence, and consequently also for the crown.

Players have six playable characters at their disposal: King, Prince, Minister, General, Cardinal and Baron - each with unique talents, motivations and goals. The game is about making conspiracies, which, with the use of available income and adequate financial resources, will allow to defeat the opponents. However, competitors in the race to the throne are not passive observers and make their own intrigues, so it is necessary to constantly adapt their strategy to the actions of their rivals and the changing situation in the kingdom.
