Realistic manager of the Polish speedway league, allowing you to lead any of the teams entered for the 1997 season. During the game we have to take care not only about the composition and results of the competition, but also about the entire facilities and financial sphere of the club's activity. Tastes in the form of buying matches, hiring spies and sabotaging the opponent are also foreseen.

Insane Speedway is a realistic management game in which we lead a professional speedway team. The game was developed by the Insane Works studio in Tarnow, and Zbigniew Rozkrut - former President of the slag section of Unia Tarnow, a true slag enthusiast and owner of one of the world's largest collection of souvenirs associated with this popular sport - acted as a consultant.

In the game we can take the position of manager of any of the teams of the first or second league, entered for the Polish Team Championships of the 1997 season. Depending on the league in which we start the game, our goal is to advance to the Ekstraklasa or to win the national championship. Apart from composing the line-up for the next duels, our duties also include taking care of all the facilities and financial condition of the club. Appropriate profits will provide us with revenues from tickets, advertising and sponsorship agreements, as well as sales of motorcycles and riders. The cost side is the expenditure related to the operation and repair of machines, organisation of trainings, maintenance of infrastructure and the purchase and salaries of players. The game boasts a realistic representation of the rules prevailing in the Polish speedway league. The authors have also tried to give the gameplay an additional taste. We can, for example, sell and buy matches, sabotage opposing team mechanics or employ informants.

From the technical side, the gameplay is enriched by a whole array of statistics and options, whose position on the screen can be configured in any way. In the background we are accompanied by static graphics and real pictures from speedway matches. The course of the matches is reported in real time and presented with the use of colourful helmets moving along the model of the stadium. Up to 6 players can participate in the game at the same time, each of which controls their own team.
