Infinite Crisis is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game set in the DC Multiverse setting, with the comic book publisher's heroes and villains being the playable characters. The game was developed by Turbine Entertainment, creators of many games, including The Lord of The Rings Online. Just like in every MOBA game, gameplay in Infinite Crisis focuses on battles between two teams of players.

Game of the MOBA genre from the makers of The Lord of the Rings Online. The action takes place in the world of DC Multiverse, where different incarnations of well-known superheroes from the DC Comics universe live. The game is focused on fast action and multiplayer gameplay.

Infinite Crisis is a production by Turbine Entertainment (The Lord of the Rings Online, Asheron's Call). The game uses DC Comics license, so the playable characters are well-known and loved superheroes.

The story is set in the universe of DC Multiverse, which consists of many planets inhabited by different incarnations of the cult characters. For instance, on the planet Prime (Earth-0), standard characters known to all from the comic books of DC Comics live. On the Nightmare (Earth-43), dominated by darkness, the cult heroes also live, but some of them turned into murderous creatures. In turn, Mecha (Earth-44) is inhabited by mechanical superheroes created by Justice Consortium. There are several such planets, including: Gaslight, Atomic and Arcane.

The gameplay in Infinite Crisis, as well as other representatives of the MOBA genre (eg, League of Legends), is based on combat between two teams consisting of a few players. The game is enriched by random events, usually in the form of natural disasters. They change not only the appearance of the map, but also affect tactics, forcing the two teams to switch their strategy. Every match affects the place in the world rankings.

The game allows the players to assume the role of such characters as Batman, Flash, Catwoman, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman, Doomsday, and many others. They have different strengths, but are also characterized by one – incredible might, so throwing cars or pulling meteorites flying near the planet is no unusual view.

The graphic design is cartoon-styled, and the battlefield is observed from the camera placed over it, but it is possible to set it manually.
