Infinite Beyond the Mind is an action platform game developed by an independent author, Emilie Coyo. The production has been released by Blowfish Studios, which is known for Siegecraft Commander and Storm Boy: The Game.
Plot
Infinite Beyond the Mind takes us on a journey to the world devastated by a global war. Headed by Queen Evangelyn, the troops of the Beljantaur Kingdom continue their victorious march, suppressing all signs of resistance. The main characters of this production are Tanya and Olga. When one of them was kidnapped by an sinister ruler, there was nothing left for the other to do but to go after her and face the army standing in her way. All in order to save her friend and at the same time thwart Evangelyn's plans to conquer the world.
Mechanics
In Infinite Beyond the Mind the action is presented on the side. During the game we play the role of one of the two girls and we run ahead of each other, jumping on the platforms and avoiding traps as well as facing the hordes of the enemies. The heroines eliminate their enemies by fighting them in a close combat. Although they most often fight against weaker opponents whose defeat is not a big problem, from time to time they face much more powerful bosses. In addition, on selected levels they can sit at the helm of various vehicles and machines and wreak havoc on the enemies' ranks. The creators have prepared sixteen different levels; during the game we visit, among others, the roofs of skyscrapers, the harbour or even the picturesque park.
Game modes
In Infinite Beyond the Mind you can play alone or in local co-op mode.
Technical aspects
Two-dimensional graphics of Infinite Beyond the Mind were made in pixel art technique. The whole thing is maintained in the characteristic, Japanese chibi style.
