Game mechanics

Infernax is a side-scrolling game. Game gives us a vast and diverse world, which consists of many undergrounds, gloomy forests and snowy mountain peaks. We push the plot forward by completing subsequent tasks and making choices that determine how the protagonist's adventure will unfold and what fate he will inflict on the inhabitants of his homeland. For example, we can help the encountered person by solving his problems. Equally well, however, we can cut off his head and in this way make that he will never have absolutely no problems on it again.

We must also remember that numerous dangers lurk here. Exploration of the world involves jumping over chasms and avoiding traps, as well as facing numerous opponents. Battles are dynamic and require dexterity and reflexes. This applies especially to skirmishes with powerful bosses. As we progress we develop the protagonist, increasing his statistics. Besides, we increase his combat potential by supplying him with better armor and weapons.

Technical aspects

Graphics in Infernax was made in pixel art technique. The whole game is kept in quite a dark style.
