Indoor Kart Racing is a position addressed primarily to go-kart enthusiasts. As the name suggests, it allows us to take part in the races of these friendly vehicles, competing for the highest places and trying to get the best possible times.
We start the fun by creating our go-kart driver. We do it basically from scratch - we choose his name and specify the colour of the helmet and suit. A total of eight routes await you, offering various card models and designed by the famous rally driver Tom Coronel (including Suzuka, Le Mans, Monaco and Francorchamps). In championship mode, subsequent races are properly organized and grouped, and winning a series of competitions requires good results in all starts. The lap times of each lap are recorded by the monitoring devices on the track and the best results are recorded in the Hall of Fame record book. Achieving good results in the championship results in a promotion to a higher class, which, of course, involves a change to a slightly faster and stronger car. In addition, the game offers three more gameplay modes: single race, time trial and multiplayer competition (LAN/Internet), with the ability to save the best times in an online database.
Despite the colorful three-dimensional graphics, it is easy to observe a slightly more serious approach to the subject than many other games that loosely use the subject matter of cards (Chicken Race, Mario Kart, Super Karts and derivatives). This is also reflected in the realism of the driving model, which requires careful driving and some skills in cornering and overtaking rivals. In order to give players easier and more intuitive control over the go-kart, programmers have equipped the program with full support for various controllers - so we can play not only with the keyboard, joystick or gamepad, but also with an analogue steering wheel or mouse. We also decide for ourselves about the perspective from which we would like to watch our kartinger - we can choose from several options of camera settings. It is also worth noting the low hardware requirements of this item. Even weaker and older PCs can easily deliver smooth Indoor Kart Racing performance.
