In the Shadow of the Raven 2 is a sequel to an adventure game released by our southern neighbors, Cinemax. Developers and designers from House of Dragonflies studio took part in creating the second part of the game.

The first thing that strikes one's eyes is the transfer of the action into the "third dimension". According to the developers, this procedure was aimed at "distinguishing" their production from a crowd of similar, classic adventures. The game maintains the convention of noir - it also contains a lot of elements related to the cyberpunk current (the authors drew inspiration from the works of Philip K. Dick).

In the Shadow of the Raven 2 is divided between two planes - medieval Europe and Asia Minor and a futuristic world ruled by a galactic council guided by the principles of Platonic idealism. The player plays again as an unconventional monk Severin. This time he has to discover the secrets of a man called Kadmon, looking for his missing sons. He also gets entangled in the pursuit of the interstellar pirate of Buxtrod and encounters the trace of a mysterious object, brought from the Holy Land by Joseph from Arimathea, which should never fall into the wrong hands (St. Grail). Severin becomes a kind of courier between the two worlds mentioned above, but he does not even suppose that it can be sacrificed, which has been foretold in legends for centuries. But from what a cold assessment of the situation and hanging humour, for which our hero is famous.

The main plot is also interwoven with side "paths", and additionally the character led by the player is plagued by existential problems - where do his dreams come from, what is his origin, sense of life, etc. The main theme of the plot is the "path". It should be added that the advantage of the game is also the non-linearity of the mentioned plot. Like its predecessor, the described position is full of humour, funny situations, dialogues, and even grotesque characters. As the creators say, their aim was to create a kind of "bond" between the player and the heroes of In the Shadow of the Raven 2 (including NPCs).
