In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight is a third person perspective (TPP) adventure game in which the player's decisions have a direct impact on the story. This is the first game produced by the independent FireYside studio, which closely cooperated with Polish YouTuber Jasmin - founder of the Stanowo.com channel.

Plot

The action of the game was set in the picturesque Cascade Range, or more precisely in the fictional town of Silvercreek, situated on a lake and surrounded by a dense forest. The inhabitants are not only facing a difficult economic situation, but also a series of mysterious disappearances that cannot be resolved.

The heroine of the game is 17-year-old Mackenzie Carter, trying desperately to find out what happened to her mother. The story takes place in the local caravan park, where the protagonist spent her whole life. The girl follows in her mother's footsteps, solving riddles along the way and establishing contact with the inhabitants, who hide secrets she had no idea about before. Her friend, April Palmer, who lives on the other side of lake, helps with the investigation. The girl accompanies the heroine, calling from time to time and encouraging further action. The relationship only thickens the already dense atmosphere of the game, forcing them, over time, to discuss a mystery which they have been persistently trying to ignore for a long time.
