Imperivium III: The Great Battles of Rome is a real-time strategy enriched with RPG elements, focusing on the theme of ancient Rome. The creators of the game are the authors of the third and fourth part of the popular series of economic strategies Tropico.

Real-time strategy developed by Bulgarian studio Haemimont Games. The developer is known on the market mainly due to the production of the third and fourth parts of the Tropico cycle.

Imperivium III: The Great Battles of Rome is not described by its creators as a typical RTS, but RTC (Real Time Conquest). The main focus was on fighting, reducing economic threads to a minimum, and the whole thing was additionally enriched with numerous RPG elements. Therefore, in The Great Battles of Rome we will not find units for collecting raw materials - food and gold is generated automatically.

In the game we run one of the eight available nations. We choose from among: Rome (separately from the times of the Republic and the Empire), Gaul, Germany, Great Britain, Egypt, Carthage and Spain. Available gameplay modes allow you to play a standard campaign in which you conquer enemy provinces, fight historic battles (e.g. Battle of Zama) and create your own battle scenarios. The title also provides online gameplay for up to eight players.
