Imperium Galactica

Imperium Galactica is a complex strategy, which takes place in space. In terms of gameplay style it combines elements of the RTS genre and turn-based development based on the 4X principle: expansion, exploitation, exploration and extermination. We play the role of Dante Johnson. He was entrusted with the control of three colonies: Achilles, Naxos and San Sterling. In order to defend them, we receive several spacecraft at our disposal. Our main goal is to ensure the dominant role of the human race in the space inhabited by foreign civilizations.

During the game we spend time trading with other colonies, developing different technologies, negotiating with enemies, and ultimately fighting with them. In this case, we take control of all the units we own, and the clashes take place in real time.

Along with the performance of subsequent tasks we are gaining higher and higher military rank. The promotion gives us access to an increasing number of ships and unblocks new areas of space. The highest status of the Grand Admiral reveals the entire map. Regardless of our decisions and the pace of the game, hostile races are not in vain. If we focus too long on tutorial missions, it may turn out that in the meantime foreign civilisations have captured the most important territories and it will be much harder for us to regain them. Similarly, rapid expansion gives hope of dominating the cosmos against enemies.

Graphic design of the Galactica Empire game varies greatly depending on the scale in which we manage the empire. By controlling the database from the macro level, you can see a simple galaxy map with the position of celestial bodies marked. On the other hand, when we make an extension directly on the surface of the planet, we can see the detailed objects. The creators also prepared a series of interludes in which real actors performed.
