Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher

Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher is an action game that draws on the style of classic horror game, developed by Chinese studio VIVA Games.

Story

In Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher, the player is taken to a mysterious island as a hero whose task is to solve the mystery of human experiments that have taken place (and most probably still do) on it. The organization behind them will do anything to gain the key to immortality. A side effect of its research was the creation of aggressive, bloodthirsty creatures, which took over the dark corners of this ghastly place.

Mechanics

In Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher we observe the action from first-person perspective. During the game, we travel through claustrophobic locations that cause shivers on our backs (the darkness is illuminated by flames or the light of a flashlight used by the character), fight the aforementioned mutated adversaries, making use of firearms (handguns and machine guns, among others) and solve more or less complex environmental riddles.

The game requires VR goggles and motion controllers to work. During the game, we have full freedom of movement in the environment, in which we look around by moving our heads. With the help of controllers, we control the hands of the protagonist - this is how we aim our weapon or direct the beam of light emitted by the flashlight.

Technical aspects

Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher boasts high quality visuals - the most noteworthy are the richly animated opponents.
