We control the career of a young dancer specializing in modern dance varieties. The development of skills takes place in two ways - by watching repetitions of performances of better dancers and by means of their tips. The game is based on the development of an appropriate rhythm. The whole was created mainly for girls aged 8-12 years.
Imagine Modern Dancer Description
Imagine Modern Dancer is a game designed for girls aged 8-12. Young players follow a career of a dancer who specializes in modern styles of dancing. Previously, Imagine game series included several similar titles, e.g. Imagine Ballet Dancer.
In the game you get to know Laura, a young, gifted dancer, and help the teenager succeed in the entertainment industry. A key role in her success plays her eccentric teacher. You can also develop your skills in two other ways: by watching recaps of more experienced dancers’ performances and following tips they give. The gameplay proper requires you to learn a proper rhythm, as all moves should be performed accordingly with on-screen hints.
As she progresses, the main protagonist can learn almost 40 new dance moves. It is important to prepare before a show, which includes creating a proper choreography by combining moves you have learned, and take care about a bunch of other things related to the show. The latter includes selecting a proper music track. The available genres are Funk, Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B, and others.
What is important, the appearance and outfit of the main heroine are customizable. Imagine Modern Dancer has graphics similar to other games in this series. Obviously, the most attention was given to Laura’s animations.
