The first expansion for the 2021 sci-fi strategy. Imagine Earth: Galaxies is about exploring diverse planets from different galaxies. We can create a space station to become our headquarters and the DLC uses a story campaign to serve as an introduction to the new mechanics.

Technical aspects

Imagine Earth: Galaxies is the first expansion to the strategy game titled Imagine Earth, originally released in 2021. The add-on was developed by the independent German studio Serious Bros., the creators of the base version of the game.

New features in the expansion

Imagine Earth: Galaxies gives a new galactic meaning to the corporate war for resources. The gameplay takes place within galaxies with a maximum of twenty planets ready for colonization and full of resources.

Galactic expansion

We can test our strength in galactic expansion both in infinite mode and when competing against the AI. Additionally, for the purposes of this DLC, a story campaign has been prepared. It serves as a kind of introduction to its mechanics. The number of victory points we have earned testifies to how well we are doing. The faction that has the most of them at the end of the pioneer phase is proclaimed the main ruler of the galaxy.

Space station and orbital transport

This is not the end, as the expansion also brings a space station. It is our new headquarters, and at the same time a communication hub for colonies on individual globes. Thanks to it, we can conduct interplanetary research and gain access to extensions for city centers and their associated special abilities. Orbital space transport, which allows for quick transfer of resources between the planet and the space station, is also available.
