The second installment in a series of TPP puzzle platformers, in which we solve environmental puzzles while dealing with the playable characters' inertia. Human Fall Flat 2 was created with co-op in mind.
Human Fall Flat 2 is the sequel to a warmly received puzzle platformer from 2016. It was developed by the Lithuanian studio No Brakes Games, the creators of the original game.
Mechanics
Human Fall Flat 2 is a third-person game (TPP). The player must traverse diverse levels and solve environmental puzzles. Each puzzle can be solved in several ways, encouraging replayability and experimentation.
Similarly to the first game, controlling the characters may be challenging as there's considerable inertia to them as they move. Still, it also grants them great freedom of movement; the characters can climb objects, jump on them and grab onto their edges.
The puzzles mainly revolve around interacting with the environment. Encountered objects can be moved, carried and thrown; occasionally we'll also control various vehicles and devices.
Game modes
Human Fall Flat 2 was designed with multiplayer co-op in mind.
Technical aspects
Human Fall Flat 2 retains its predecessor's low poly artstyle. The game's greatest appeal is its physics engine, affecting characters and objects.
