Hugo Troll Race Description
After Hugo Retro Mania, Hugo Troll Race is the next installment of a popular series of games for children, refreshed years later for tablet and mobile users. Hugo Games production is based on the same mechanics as its predecessor. This time, however, our friendly troll, instead of visiting the narrow sidewalks of the mine, takes part in a crazy draisine race.
Hugo Troll Race is in a sense a remake of the first fully fledged Hugo video game in the lead role, released in 1992 on Commodore Amiga computers. Our hero controls a railway draisine flickering in front of him, and his task is to collect coins scattered along the route, which will be used to buy new upgrades for the vehicle. During a series of successive stages, taking place in different sceneries, players will be faced with a variety of surprises. These include deserted barriers, trains flickering nearby, tree trunks and enemies whose only goal is to stop our crazy journey. Thanks to his dexterity, Hugo must avoid further dangers by changing the course, bending and jumping over obstacles.
The visual setting is maintained in the characteristic for the series, cartoon style, although due to the capabilities of mobile devices it is quite economical and stands at an average level. Despite the fact that the game is mainly for children, the level of difficulty of the subsequent stages increases extremely quickly, making it a challenge to overcome them.
