Hot Wheels: Beat That!

Hot Wheels: Beat That! is a simple racing game, in the course of which we take control over small cars with electric drive. We compete on interestingly designed routes, trying to reach the finish line in the first place while eliminating other competitors and performing spectacular stunts.

The main advantage of this racing game is the ability to test one of thirty cars from the title Hot Wheels series. Each of the machines included in the game is described by several basic parameters, such as speed, control or acceleration. It is also worth mentioning that the small cars are subject to realistically displayed damage, which affects their performance.

The competition can be played in many interesting locations. This includes a bowling alley or a mini-golf course. The routes are very varied, offering spectacular corkscrews, short-cuts useful to overtake opponents, aggressive turns, or hills necessary to perform acrobatic tricks. In total we choose between twelve locations. In addition, the game includes four arenas, used to conduct direct battles with other players.

In the course of the game we also collect power-ups and weapons, thanks to which we can attack opponents going next to us. These include rockets, cannons, Tesla rays, shock waves and smoke curtains. Selected weapons can also be charged to increase their power. In addition to perfect cornering, we also perform spectacular slides and air acrobatics. These actions are rewarded accordingly, enabling us to unlock various bonuses.

Visuals of Beat That! are high quality on the Xbox 360 console and personal computers. The possibility of destroying or relocating objects in the immediate vicinity is worth mentioning. The devs didn't forget about a full-fledged multiplayer, offering the option of competing against other fans of four wheels.
