Horizons: The Settlements PC

MMOcRPG game maintained by EI Interactive. Horizons: Empires of Istaria has been officially extended for the first time. The program was baptized under the name Horizons: The Settlements and offers active subscribers a significant amount of news and innovations, being for the already ossified product a true breath of freshness. It's worth noting that while creating the add-on, programmers took into account the observations of the players themselves, which allowed for a better adjustment of Horizons to the requirements of today's users.

Among the novelties, the most numerous representations are additional, climatic graphic models, designed to improve the mood of the world presented and provide players with greater opportunities to adapt the buildings and objects present in the game to their own tastes. In The Settlements we find lots of new furniture, gardens and motifs characteristic for specific races (e.g. driadic trees or dwarf tunnels). There is also no shortage of standard elements for add-ons - we face new types of enemies (including sinister and cunning harps), we talk to NPCs absent in the basic version of the game, who in turn commission us with more complex and interesting quests. Performing subsequent orders results in the acquisition of completely new, even more powerful treasures, increasing the capabilities of our hero.

The number of options available at the character creation stage has been increased - in total we have as many as fifteen characteristic races at our disposal, each with its own strengths and weaknesses and top-down predispositions. Another important novelty is a well thought-out and refined pet system, thanks to which players have access to a wide range of companions, who can, for example, significantly support us in combat. The already archaic graphic design has also been modernized. The whole thing is to improve the not very good condition of the prototype, whose past abounded in not very positive events (multiple publisher changes, unstable development team, problems with server security and payment system).
