Hordes of Hunger

Unlike most other titltes of this type, the game has a quite extensive plot, the subsequent threads of which we learn over the course of various missions. As we progress, we learn more and more about the game world and its inhabitants, as well as the threat that looms over it.

Mechanics

In Hordes of Hunger we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). Adventure leads us through various locations - from the ruined village of Mirah to the mighty fortress. While traversing them, we carry out the quests entrusted to us and eliminate hordes of enemies.

We get rid of adversaries who attack in droves by using a wide range of melee weapons, such as swords and hammers, as well as various special attacks and skills, such as covering the blade with flames or a lightning storm accompanying a successful jump. On the battlefield, we must not only be in constant motion, avoiding attacks and launching swift counterattacks, but also make use of the opportunities offered by the environment, especially the use of objects susceptible to destruction.

As we progress through the game, we develop our character and acquire more powerful equipment. This is important because over time, regular opponents attack in increasingly larger groups, and the bosses we face become increasingly powerful.
