Arcade game referring to the convention of the classic Pac-Man. We are directing a three-dimensional animal, reminiscent of Pikiu. Our task is to collect a certain number of crystals from the map, at the same time facing various opponents.
Hopmon is a simple arcade game reminiscent of the style and gameplay of the Pac-Man series. JJSoft is responsible for the title, known for creating simple casual titles for players of all ages.
At Hopmon, we control a Pike-like yellow animal which, jumping on a three-dimensional map, must collect a certain number of crystals and bring them to their destination. The task is only seemingly simple, because on our way we meet many opponents and many obstacles. Although a handy gun can help us, it is not always possible to reload it on time and face the approaching enemy. This makes it necessary to rethink the chosen route as you progress through the levels (there are 45 in the game). An additional difficulty is the fact that wearing more crystals slows down the movement and reaction speed of our hero. The endurance of enemies also increases. While basic spirits die from a single shot, at higher levels the elimination of the enemy requires even a few hits.
The game offers only one-player mode with the ability to start playing from any unlocked level. The creators of JJSoft have tried to make them bigger and more varied over time. In this way we will visit the boards in colors referring to the jungle or full of floating ufo. However, we always move in four basic directions.
Hopmon's graphics are made using a 3D engine and are distinguished by their colorful colors. At the same time, it is not too complicated. Except for the possibility to change the resolution and supported graphic libraries, the developers did not foresee the selection of other graphic settings. Music, in turn, is limited to four simple electronic works.
